The busy guy :: (1) 01. June 2004
Much time passed since my last blog. What has happened? A couple of things which are more or less of interest. However, here is a rollup:

First of all, I have been very busy at work and university. I completed a large multimedia project with Macromedia Director, from which I could gain a lot of experience. Nice tool, though it behaves strange sometimes. Counting starts at 1 there.

I've also been working on a couple of new websites. And I think that the time has come to completely forget about the 800x600 resolution (aka the 770px width) and start designing for 1024x768 (990px width). What do you think?

I fixed a bug in the t-Race installer and also used better compression which saves about one megabyte. Go download! (And give me some feedback afterwards. ;-))

The usability of MacOS has always been one of the main reasons why I want a Mac, but I never could afford one. Now I managed to emulate MacOS X on my PC. The trick is: PearPC. (Here is a screenshot. 170KB )

Oh, and the new secret project I'm always talking about will be presented to you in the next blog. I promise. So watch out!

Well, the semester draws to an end, which means I will have a lot of exams. :-( Hopefully I can blog a couple of times before I go on my holidays in July. ;-)

i think laptops with 13 inch viewable and palm OSs' and such. actually what i think is abstraction and templates and code capable of delivering the same content stored in a DB or static to any device regardless of res.

Cheers for the Pear =D
